Meg was stumped by how to fit in two sinks
until designer Joanne Palmisano suggested
positioning them on opposite walls. Each pedestal
is flanked by cherry cabinets. To encourage the
kids to be neat, Meg chose cabinets with shelves
and no doors so that everything is on display. “It
works,” she says. “They do very well.”
The morning routine in the new

bath runs with revolving-door efficiency, as the
three siblings take turns showering or share sink
time. Meg especially likes the fact that the bath
now has more of an entrance, with a closet on the
left and a half-wall hiding the toilet on the right.
“It doesn’t feel claustrophobic anymore.”^
